game changer! Best Accessory

This insert is amazing! The Ridgid R4512 table saw has a terrible insert that it comes with and the hole is too big to support fine detail or make precision cuts. This Leecraft effort is incredible. The quality and finish is impeccable, the fit is great and the functionality is impeccable. This is exactly what I was looking for and needed. Follow directions closely, but use masking tape to get a perfect, chip-free edge. I also bought the Dado insert because it's so great and I'm 100% happy with

Great, only that the riving knife has to be changed.

I really like this gapless insert. It fits snugly in the hole in the needle plate and doesn't dangle. My only complaint and the reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is that the face for the riving knife is not wide enough. My riving knife wants to grab the plate and lift it up when I lift the blade. I need to widen the slot for the riving knife so it doesn't get stuck. It doesn't matter though, as you can just lower the saw blade before turning the saw on, and as long as you don't lower the saw…

Fits like a glove, don't forget to think of your riving knife!

I had to buy two, the first crashed during installation, but this is entirely my fault. I put it on the saw, laid the board along the blade and clamped it. There was resistance as I lifted the spinning blade, but I didn't realize what was happening until the insert itself ruptured and flew through the magazine. Problem? I did not remove the riving knife and the model I purchased did not have a riving knife cutout. So I basically broke the insert with the force of the knife pushing up from the…

Insert with care - table saw accessories

Love Leecraft Zero Gap Table Saw Inserts. This is my third purchase of this product for three different table saws. No chipping of material if you follow the included instructions. They say that for the first cut you only have to clamp the plate. Please accept a strong offer. Do it 2 x 4. Less danger trying to raise the blade to full height. Second strong suggestion: follow the procedure shown by Izzy Swan on YouTube. Yes, you will have to replace the blade, but this will give you an even more…

Well designed and works as intended.

Bought for my Ridgid 4512 table saw and am having a few problems. First the photo on the site below. The top is flat and is similar in color to the orange Rigid applications. Second, use the board from above as instructed, and when you lift the blade to cut through the gap, you don't want to go to slow speed or you'll smell the smell of burning. As I increased the speed, the smoke disappeared. Make sure you have adjusted the front screws indicated on the sticker on the underside of the rail to…

Stop making your own bets.

I've already assembled mine and made a few cuts. It's absolutely worth the money. I use my own riving knife so this is great for me. If not, get an RG-6 for dado blades. It's great for a single blade and doesn't have a slot for a riving knife. I have nothing but good things to say about this insole. It fits multiple saws, not just the hard one as advertised. See photos. It's completely flat and I was able to dial it in perfectly with the stock adjustment screws. The screws on the insert itself…

Amazing product! - Accessories

I stumbled upon Leecraft table saw inserts at Revain and dared to buy one for my Ridgid R-4512 table saw. When I opened the packaging I was immediately impressed with the quality and engineering behind this product. I followed Leecraft's clear instructions and installed the insert. I taped a strip of blue painter's tape over the line to be cut as a precaution to avoid a nonexistent tear. The difference between this strong, well-made insert and the thin metal insert that comes with the R-4512 is
