Much less than stated!

The attached image is from the Revain site and shows an object being held with two fingers; This is NOT a true image as the actual device is SMALL, no more than 2 inches long and VERY difficult to read.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Minor issues

Inexpensive and works

Changing modes is a little awkward - the buttons are small and not clearly marked. Works well for my purposes - the best feature is the software which you can find on the website in Chinese - it automatically captures current usage and graphs it. I only gave it 4 stars because it's difficult to switch between modes switch.

Pros
  • Inexpensive
Cons
  • Security

Not always transparent

This is a nice multifunctional device that looks very accurate. There are some downsides though: - There have been instances where I couldn't get the intended device to start using this built in charging (I think it was: Apple Power Adapter -> Cable -> TC66 -> Type-C Dock -> MBP 15"). - The two button menu system is a bit cryptic. A rocker switch would have made a nicer interface in my opinion.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

No instruction manual

I should have known better than to buy an item that said "Magic Low Voltage Measuring Weapon!". A manual was not included, but an online search can be found a ten-page version. I didn't search for "magic weapons" in the guide. The small print data displayed on the screen is too small for my old eyes. I'm not sure I would trust downloading software to interact with this device with a computer as another reviewer reported that it was infected with a virus. The seller must have used a trick toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

It works but I didn't like some things.

Works great, good display, good menu system. This device is smaller than it appears in the photos, I was concerned about plugging it into a wireless charger but it worked. I don't care, its construction feels fragile, the buttons are microswitches with tiny button faces. on the exposed edge of the circuit board, and the two micro-sliders are also tiny and feel fragile. It also seems strange to me that the device measures its own power consumption and includes it in the displayed resultsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Can't remember

Great tool for checking USB-C hardware

Great little gadget to check if your charger or cable really has all USB-C capabilities. It displays transmitted voltage and current and has more USB-C PD functions for the really techies. Unfortunately, the PC interface for using the desktop application, which allows updating the firmware, among other things, only works from Windows 10. No Mac/Linux support, I'm afraid. But I don't see a need for an upgrade as without it it does what I wanted and keeps my PSU and cables fair. and creativeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • No automatic setup

Ideal for showing what your USB-C devices or chargers are using.

If you want to find out what your USB-C devices are drawing, this is by far the best USB-C power meter I've used. It's capable of providing accurate PD readings BOTH ways (the charger end goes through the device or the device is plugged into the USB-C host port to see what it's drawing), the is great. It also receives power from the line. . This means some of the current is being used, which can skew the reading, but this is almost negligible for the average person who only wants to see theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Disappears

Nice counter for the price! Just a few minor imperfections

First of all, this gauge does what it says on the tin! I had no trouble measuring multiple chargers and devices, even up to 5 amps. For the price I don't know if the counter could be better! I have not attempted to use this counter with a computer, so I cannot comment on this functionality. Now there are a few downsides: 1. The device overall is much smaller than the pictures suggest and the screen is true to size, just under 1 inch diagonally. This sometimes makes the screen difficult to read.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
