Good travel companion

This is a great travel computing device. It's thin enough to fit in almost any pocket. The included keyboard cover makes typing a pleasure. I take tons of notes with Samsung Notes and Whiteboard, that gets the job done. Battery life - ah. I can get through the day with very light use and keeping the keyboard cover closed when not in use. The screen freezes! Very annoying!

My first Surface Pro 7. Very nice design and I like it because you can install any applications on it, just like on a regular computer. It works out of the box at first, but after installing Windows updates I have an issue with the screen freezing. Whether you are surfing the web or typing MS words, it freezes. Very annoying. Random Freezes - Computers and Accessories

I'm returning my Surface Pro 7 to Amazon because my device is randomly freezing and I'm asking for a refund. Troubleshooted with Microsoft Tech Support, unfortunately the issue persists even after restarting the device. There are some complaints but overall a good product.

This product has a few annoyances: no Thunderbolt 3, limited screen real estate combined with large bezels, and the biggest complaint is the short battery life compared to competitors (Hp, Dell, and Lenovo). Now if you use the Sp7 indoors with around 50% brightness, you can get at least 7.5 to 8 hours of battery life, which is average but not great, but if you're using it outdoors or in a bright place, you'll need the Increase brightness that will kill the battery in about 4.5-5 hours. Good product with some very pleasant surprises and some minor issues.

In this review I will focus on the hardware, there were (and are) some software level issues, but that's Windows' fault and these issues are probably nothing new to people who regularly use Windows operating systems. I bought it to replace my old laptop and as a tablet to use in uni instead of pen and paper.
