It takes a bit of getting used to, but ends up being very easy to use. The first two things to notice right away are: First, don't drill the pilot hole for the center screw too deep. If you do that, the screw doesn't have enough material to attach to and the whole thing shifts onto you. For cutting out speakers in a large speaker box. The clamp center screw is a bad idea. When working with MDF, the thread does not hold the screw securely. It tends to grow, causing the entire device to deviate from the true center. The screw is too small for proper accuracy as it does not properly support the centerline.
