This product just blew a similar Kreg clip. My Kreg clamp just destroyed the blind hole every time it was removed and that was very annoying. No matter what I tried, I couldn't unclip the clip properly. However, this clamp was able to hold my workpiece very well and remove it without damage. In addition, it seems that it has become much stronger. I am really impressed and happy with this purchase!

I recently bought a Milescraft face clip and was so impressed I bought it to work with. Milescraft pocket tools are as reliable as can be. At first I thought I would miss the auto-tuning feature found in Kreg products, but I have no regrets about the purchase. It's not that hard to adjust the tension so I don't feel like I chose this product over Kreg products. Save money and buy this clip. It will do exactly what it is needed to do and last a lifetime. Would buy again.

Glad I purchased the product as hand/finger pressure alone does not hold the joinery in place during assembly. However, it can definitely split wood if you're not careful with the pressure applied. I have found the pocket hole clamp handy after a few projects involving pocket holes, however with a range of bar clamps it is not necessary unless your project is too large. Finding this collar for almost half the price of another brand was enough to justify the purchase. The problem I had, along with many other reviewers, is that the clip works well on some board gauges, but not all. . let me explain. The 2x4 has a fairly large volume. The clamp clamps at a 15 degree angle made by Kreg mounts. Due to the thickness of the 2x4, the clip will sit right on the edge/corner of the bottom of the 2x4.
