Ideal for wood infill inserts

I was renovating an old dining table that had a decorative groove all the way around to catch dirt and debris. I thought about filling it with an ebony insert, but after some research I decided to use this one instead. Much easier and cheaper, and the result is no worse. Attached photo before the poly layer.

Pros

Cons

Does not shrink, can be sanded and polished after drying. Works wet.

It is a great material to work with, the uses are endless. It appears to have been shipped from the manufacturer and was in perfect condition, unlike some I've found in hobby shops that may not have been as fresh. Very fast delivery. Highly recommended for lovers and lovers of fixers.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence

Fiction! in Wood Filler

I used a white product to repair an old pitcher with a large wedge chip with great results so I decided to try my luck with black. I have an 1840's dresser with a marble top that had a large chip on the bottom. Since the marble is dark gray with whitish flecks, I mixed black and white together to mimic the marble's pattern. I have to say that unless you look through a magnifying glass, the repair is not visible. I couldn't be happier with this product. The possibilities are endless!

  • Cool product

  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

Great fitment product

Our 1 year old Buick Enclave somehow got a dent in the black (plastic) frame around the front passenger window. The ringing was a quarter sized and quite noticeable. The Buick dealer told us the frame needed replacing ($$$). We searched the internet for a product that could fill the dent. We finally found this milliput. We followed simple instructions and used a flat razor blade to fill in and smooth out the dent. It hardened and the sound was no longer obvious. The black color doesn't quiteโ€ฆ

It forms easily after mixing and curing.

I bought this to make teeth for a mask I was making but have since used in a few art projects. It is easy to shape once mixed and can be sanded/sanded very easily once cured. I used a Dremel tool on a finished hardened piece that worked fairly well for sanding and shaping. If you don't use it with gloves it leaves a colored residue on your fingers that will eventually wash off with a scraper, which I personally don't mind, but you could do it. In this case, wear latex gloves when working. Iโ€ฆ

Funny stuff! for accessories

A wonderful thing! It's gooey at first, then turns into smooth clay - almost like FIlm-o- and then starts to harden, but there's a window of about 10 minutes when you can turn it into something. It doesn't stick to hands like other liquid metals or putty. Wash hands with water and some friction. I can only confirm that it will stick to glass, which works very well, but it does get a little brittle once it dries. You can break it off with pliers or break it with a hammer if it'sโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

  • Slightly wrinkled
