- 1) Very good stabilizer! 2) So far I have not found a single significant chromatic aberration in the pictures, this is very pleasing. Especially after whale 18-55 and compared to 35 1.8 3) Focuses accurately. 4) I really like bokeh.
- 1) It eats a battery well, but it lasts for a day if you turn off the stub when it is not really needed.
- Excellent two-level stabilizer, picture color reproduction, sharp, fits comfortably in the hand, the trunk does not spontaneously move out when the lens is pointing down and when walking, metal mount, 9-blade aperture, internal focusing.
- The noisy operation of the stabilizer (at the beginning of operation it was unusual), the aperture ratio (but it is quite enough), the minimum focal length (1.5 m) and the price is slightly too high.
- Great photos with a great zoom (especially for cropped cameras, when the focal length becomes just huge!)
- - good drawing - excellent design - fast, accurate and quiet autofocus - internal focus - permanent manual focus priority (M/A) - excellent dual-mode optical stabilizer - metal bayonet with dust protection
- - chromatic aberration - I would like more sharpness in the range of 200-300mm
- Price, weight, dimensions. Build quality. BLEND included (canon does not put it =) case! And filters cost a penny compared to 70-200
- I won’t write about aperture ratio, and everything is clear, it’s dark in a room with weak light, the picture quality and sharpness suit me.
- Cutting fast AF working stub beautifully washes the background on the long end depth of field big and heavy BLEND on crop 450mm!
- dark, vacuum cleaner, big and heavy. Such an assembly attracts increased attention (((with an extended trunk and a hood put on - a monster. Minimum focusing distance 1.5 m ! noticed a couple of times haha
- Cutting. Cutting! I did not expect this from this glass at all.
- Don't know. Worked for them for three days. But tight. The glass is someone else's, I did not pay my own money, therefore I have no complaints about the price either. But I think it should be used.
- up to 200.250 sharp, the stabilizer is very good, suitable for FX and DX.
- large and heavy, in poor lighting it is very difficult to shoot (on the street during the day in any weather it is normal, but at twilight it is useless)
- Sharp, draws great, great VR stabilization, price.
- There are none for this price.
- 1. Sharp 2. Excellent color reproduction 3. Very fast focus 4. Excellent stabilizer performance 5. Decent bokeh
- Focus starts to roam in the dark, but that's what M/A is for, so it's always possible to bring the focus to manual. Another disadvantage, and even doubtful, is the drop in sharpness in the range of 250-300. In my opinion, this is treated with shorter shutter speeds (because the stabilizer is good, but not omnipotent) and (or) by covering the aperture to 8, no more.
- The picture quality is just superb, sharp all over the frame, perfect weight, workmanship is beyond praise, auto focus speed is just crazy! the stabilizer fulfills one hundred percent! perfect for both full-frame and crop.
- considering what this lens was created for, there are no shortcomings ! Small aperture? not very comfortable FR? compare the price with its fast brother 70-200 f2.8 and all claims to this glass will disappear! don't forget it's a telephoto lens! and his FR 70-300 are not designed to work in a cramped room !
- Heavy, grippy, looks very impressive on the D90. It looks durable, the rings are tight and well, the stub.
- then I'll think
- Excellent stabilizer, good bokeh due to the 9-bladed diaphragm. Confident autofocus (I shoot on the D90). Silent focusing with manual priority. Suitable for FF cameras. Minimum optical distortion. Fully justifies its price.
- There is no limiter for the focusing system, it is sometimes necessary if you are engaged in photo-hunting for birds, for example. At the 300mm long end, clarity is noticeably less than in the 70mm to 200mm range.
