Specialized telezoom for operational outdoor shooting (300 mm really help). For your money, the best option: Sigma is much cheaper but pronouncedly chromate and fringes, Tamron is cheaper by 1000 and also gives more pronounced chromaticity. Pros below: Extremely fast autofocus speed and accuracy are the main advantages of this lens - it is easy to capture the moment with it, especially in street reportage shooting. On large FRs, there is a beautiful and smooth blurring of the background, separation of the object from the background. The lens is sharp at all focal lengths, even at an open aperture, although the sharpness decreases somewhat with increasing FR. At f8 it gives excellent micro-contrast. There is a manual fine-tuning focus. The stabilizer is excellent - it pulls two steps. That is, on an equivalent FR 450 (300 * 1.5), you can shoot at 1/125. Cons: It is heavy and overall - the latter makes you have a large photo bag. I don’t see much point in complicating the design with a stabilization mode switch - it doesn’t change much. I would like to have f4 and 50mm at the near end - then it would be completely universal. For the room is dark despite the stub. The lens pattern does not fully show up on the crop and may seem boring.
