Switch on, switch on

Works as it should. I use it for the brake light led strip so the connector is not visible from the bumper. The only thing I have trouble with is getting the 7 pin connector to fit properly. Make sure you can hear it click or it won't work.

Buy the Curt brand instead of this brand

I bought this with a 60" Redline tailgate LED strip and installed it on my 2013 Ford F-150. worked fine for about 2 weeks then the 7 pin adapter failed. ordered curt brand and it has been working flawlessly for over a month now and it was cheaper than this.

This is not a wire extension allowing a direct connection from an existing bumper socket to a trailer

This is an additional under vehicle wiring harness. It will not plug into the factory installed 7 pin socket visible from the outside of the rear bumper of my 2019 Arcadia. A 7-pin trailer connector is installed on the bumper. This "T with optional 4-pin connector" connector adapter can then be plugged into the vehicle wiring harness as a more convenient addition to the vehicle wiring harness.

Connector fits just right

I used this adapter to connect an LED strip in my truck and the connector was not visible as the only 4 pin connector is on the outside of the bumper. I didn't want to plug it into an external jack so the wires would be visible or the jack cover would open. I saw a video of a guy doing it like this and it looked very cheesy. This connector fitted perfectly and gave me the 4 pin connector I needed for the lightstrip. I also liked that it comes with a plastic tube to protect the wires. I've tried
