About two weeks after installing it in my car.

About two weeks after installing it in my car, my car stopped in the middle of traffic. After unsuccessfully replacing several parts in my car, we finally found out that this part was the problem. It shorted out the entire car and burned out two radios.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Worked great! in Radio Accessories

I used this to install a dual socket Joying Android head unit in my 2004 Chevy Suburban. It took me a bit of trial and error to get the stereo hooked up properly, but it simply plugged directly into my car's system and the OnStar, steering wheel controls and rear fader worked without cutting the existing wires. Sliding out the dashboard allows you to remove the cables from the stereo.

  • Very Impressive

  • Faulty

solid product. good for the electrics

I used this on my 2003 GMC Sierra with Bose to retain steering wheel control and Bose performance. This is one of those annoying moments that is required in some cases when installing a new head unit. After making sure I fully understood the instructions, I proceeded to solder and make all the necessary connections to my main unit (sitting at a comfortable workbench. It took a bit.). The factory connectors snapped straight into place, and after spending some time reconnecting all the cables and

Scrap, stopped working after a day

All connections soldered and heat shrunk, installed and tested before zipping up the dash. I go out the next day and none of the SWCs are open. It's still beeping, reverse horn, remaining power etc so I know the box is still alive. About once a day my head unit (Jensen CAR10) goes haywire like someone is randomly pressing all the buttons on the steering wheel. When that happens there is nothing I can do about it, incredibly annoying. It will take hours to take the dash apart and see if I canโ€ฆ

Garbage, 2 defective devices came.

I ordered a wire harness back in 2018 and the installation project has dragged on till now. All connected, connected, does not work. I checked all my work and tried again but it still didn't work. Frustrated, I bought another wiring harness. Exactly the same, connected, but it doesn't work. At this point I was very upset and took it to an audio store thinking it must be a radio. The shop owner looked at everything and had to hook up the radio to my truck because both PAC harnesses were faultyโ€ฆ

! BUY ANOTHER BRAND!

From the moment you turn the key, a LOUD STATIC NOISE emanates from the OnStar speaker above the driver's seat. I installed it professionally, ignoring the fact that other buyers said they experienced static noise. The tech said the PAC harnesses were complete junk as everything he installed had the same hiss/static noise. He told me to unplug my OnStar speaker as soon as I showed him the PAC harnesses. I didn't take his word for it. In short, the next day he was paid to unhook the OnStarโ€ฆ

The only adapter worth buying for this app!

I've used similar adapters before but this one was much easier to work with. It installed (I also have experience as a professional installer) in an 04 Silverado without any major problems. I like that the ringer is adjustable, the ports feel good, and the steering wheel controls work really well. The call takes a little getting used to, but the volume can be regulated differently than from the factory. This adapter can be intimidating, but the instructions are pretty well written. Itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

He hooked up my new radio to the speakers and did all the basics but the steering wheel controls didn't work. Pioneer radio (very standard brand, not el-chepo no name). It's listed in the instructions and I used the switch position listed from the start. I also tried the manual settings option to try to program the buttons directly. I didn't get a single answer. It just doesn't connect the controls on the steering wheel to the radio. This is the main reason I bought it as I don't need a harness

a good product! the best in electrics

Installed in Chevy Lavin 2003 together with the Pioneer avh-4200nex. Love it. The doorbell sound isn't as good as the factory one, but acceptable to me given all the capabilities this thing offers. I'm using the steering wheel controls again and the rear seat infotainment controls work too. He did everything for me that he said he would. The guide was good. I've noticed that the unit stays warm (not hot) even when the truck is off. Although I don't think it uses that much power. My car has been
