Surprised! - my new review

Priced nicely. Didn’t really think it would work all that well. I was shocked when it took those lug nuts off! Not bad at all. Great for emergency changes. Simple to use! Recommend!

Pros
  • 8a draw
Cons
  • Cannot be used without adequate training or skill

Was not able to loosen Lugs tightened to torque specs

I like the idea but it was just too weak. I was not able to budge a single lug on any wheel that were tightened to torque specs. I had to loosen the lugs by hand and used the impact wrench to take off the loosened lugs. Saved me a a couple of minutes but still required me to complete the hardest part by hand . Not sure if mine is defective as it states it provides >200lbs of force but my lugs were only tightened to 80lbs.

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • Might be too powerful for some lightweight jobs

It really works!: my feedback

I'm 64 and have RA in my hands. I can remove lug nuts from my car and lawnmower with no issues. So easy to use. Feel better now that I can change my own tire if need be.Buy it. It works great .

Pros
  • Power cord length: 11.4ft
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in confined spaces

Speeds up tire change

It works great and has a nice little led light for nighttime. I don’t know if it’s just me but every flat I have happens at the worst time , in the rain or snow or on a busy highway and replace your factory car jack because they are terrible and tip over is very easy to doThe only thing I dislike is the impact smudges the lug nuts a hair.but you can replace your factory soft steel with Mcguard nuts and eliminate that. All in all I love changing a tire in 5 minutes with this as opposed to a…

Pros
  • ‎Wagan EL2257 12V DC Mighty Impact Wrench, 1/2 inch 12 Volt Electric Impact Wrench Kit, 271 ft-lbs, Tire Repair Tools wit
Cons
  • Not ergonomic for all hand sizes

but mine works great, you have to let the wrench do the .

Some people had negative post, but mine works great, you have to let the wrench do the work, just place on bolt press trigger, don't push in.

Pros
  • Strong, durable, and great price
Cons
  • Was disappointed that it didn't work as described. It was a big let down.

Works great for the price so far, only thing that i dont like is the wait for it to lock up and engage. Changed off wheel locks then tried it on lug nuts and it worked well.

Pros
  • The variable speed trigger allows you to adjust the speed and power of the wrench to match your specific needs
Cons
  • Lacks an auto shut off feature, leading to power wastage

Weird noises and operation

OK, I'm an engineer and this gadget surprised the heck out of me. not in a good way. in fact I returned the first one, convinced it was bad. I could hear the motor turn but the chuck didn't turn at all. then about every 2-3 seconds a loud BANG.Well, it turns out, that's how this works! The "impact" comes with each of those BANGS. It's strange but it seems to work. I wanted this to remove car tire lug nuts. It works on my 2014 Rav4. After about the 4th BANG, the lug nut is almost all the

Pros
  • With its compact and lightweight design, the Mighty Impact Wrench is easy to handle and maneuver, even in tight spaces
Cons
  • Heavy-duty use might lead to rapid wear and tear

Weak Power, but Adequate to Change Tires

I bought it after comparing the power of several 12 volt impact wrenches that are sold online. This one apparently has more power than the others, and it costs more than the others. Don't expect it to work like air-powered tools. It will eventually loosen the lug nuts for you, and you can change your tire.

Pros
  • Fit type: Universal Fit
Cons
  • Sockets may not fit the bolt heads of all vehicle models

Left me stranded twice.

Ever since I bought this last year I had two flats within that time. Part of my tire repair kit I made I went and bought this to hopefully make my tire removal easier. Both times this gun did not even nudge the bolts, and before anyone asks, yes I was using the right size socket. Upon removing the socket from the gun I noticed that the gun was getting stripped where the socket latches on. For now I'm just sticking back to a manual bar.

Pros
  • The kit includes everything you need to get started, so you don't have to worry about purchasing additional accessories
Cons
  • Not suitable for use on boats or other marine vessels

Works very well. on my review.

Made my tire rotation very easy. Good product. I don't worry about emergency roadside situation anymore. May corrode if not properly stored.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • May corrode if not properly stored

I bought this impact wrench thinking that it would work like a pneumatic impact wrench. It doesn't work like a pneumatic wrench, but for 12V it gets the job done. It takes a few cycles to built up momentum for each impact, but it will break the lugs loose after a 4 or 5 hits.It will also tighten the lugs but I would recommend using a torque wrench. I don't know what torque this one is set at.What I like about this one is that I don't have to have a compressor and I don't have to worry about…

Pros
  • Pretty good. Removed lug nut from each tire to test. Tool arrived quickly.
Cons
  • May break easily if dropped or mishandled

Does not work - my new review

For the first 2 days it "semi-worked” until I tried to put lugnuts ON. The tool seemed like it was still working but I could hold the socket with my hand, squeeze the trigger and it wouldn’t turn a rust free lugnut that’s been penetrated with PB Blaster.

Pros
  • ‎Painted
Cons
  • Might strip the lug nuts of older vehicles

need more power: my feedback

I tried to take off a lug nut put on by a tire shop and it wouldn't budge on all 5 lugs. Good for hand tight nuts That's my feedback!

Pros
  • great prise
Cons
  • Not suitable for use on heavy-duty equipment
