Solid tool, works great

I was a little surprised by how far you have to put the bit into the chuck in order to get a small cut depth but it didn't affect performance. It's a very sturdy and well made tool and worked great. Easy to set up and use.

Well worth the money.

I tried to save money by buying a cheaper one and it was delivered broken. I then ordered from stewmac and of couse it was high quality and works awesome.

It's a really nice router base

It was broke when I got it. I think ups dropped something heavy on it. I contacted stewmac and they had my replacement part in the mail that day. They even sent an extra. Awesome customer support.This base is solid and precise. The only problem i had was where the screwholes on the bottom are needed to be sanded and polished. but I'm using this on super softer plastic so, most people probably wouldn't even notice this.

Great little tool in my review

It is easy to get the bit off center. Might have to purchase a little bitty level to set on it to make sure it's perfectly on center. Not a big problem. All in all it's really great, did exactly what I wanted it to do, and I can see alot of uses for it in the future. If I ever need to I will buy another one in the future. But if I take care of it I see it lasting for a VERY long time. Thanks you guys.

Built "like a tank ", easy to use. The only router base, that I know of, for rotary tools

The only thing you have to watch for is the two adjustment on each side can be slightly off from each other. Which can make the bit slightly angled. You have to measure each side from the base to be sure it is the same. I use a machinists ruler. I'm sure calipers would work too. You also have to measure the depth of the bit.BTW, I use a Craftsman rotary tool and it fits just fine.As far as I know this is the only metal, precision router base made for rotary tools.
