Perfect! Durable and long lasting!

Purdy is my number one! They will last a very long time if you take care of them! Clean them and store them back in their case and they will serve you for years to come!

Pros
  • Extra thread length and thickness for extra wear and paint resistance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

NOT A GOOD FINISHING BRUSH

Bought this blue bristle brush because of the description of the smooth finish. It wasn't like that. I am a professional painter with 30 years experience, I have been looking for a Dale XL which I have used for 20 years and this fits. It wasn't the same. This is not a brush that can be used for fine, detailed finishes. Very disappointed and can't go back. Revain, please let me know how to get a refund.

Pros
  • Handmade in USA
Cons
  • Minor

You get what you pay for

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's nothing like having the right tool for the job. Don't skimp on brushes, boys. It's just not worth it. Invest in Purdy brushes and keep them clean and they will last a lot longer than these cheap fakes. I've invested in a brush cleaning brush (yes, such things exist) that is half comb, half brush and use it with some dish soap to successfully clean my Purdy brushes. In terms of functionality, Purdy works the way you draw.

Pros
  • Round blade, stainless steel tip
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Costs money! - Paints, wall care products and accessories

Slightly more expensive than other brushes and worth every penny, especially at the Revain price. We are just homeowners who do a lot of the work and maintenance ourselves. Over the years and many projects we have learned that it is definitely worth spending some money on quality rollers and brushes as they will save you time, reduce streaks and blotches and improve the finish. Plus, with proper cleaning and care, they last a surprisingly long time. Purdy are our favorite brushes based on many…

Pros
  • Increased filament length and gauge for added wear and color retention
Cons
  • No instructions

Disappointing experience 😕

I have been using Purdy brushes for many years and have always been satisfied with their performance and quality. This brush is different. It doesn't hold color well, the bristles are too stiff. The biggest problem is quality control. When using this brush I found that many of our bristles are not full length. I have tried contacting Revain many times but due to COVID-19 I am unable to contact for a warranty replacement or refund. Unfortunately my returns window is closed and I am very…

Professional brush.

Most professional painters use Purdy brushes for a reason - their quality is second to none. Yes, they cost about 3 times the "average" brush, but if you take care of it, it will last almost forever. I'm amazed at how well made this brush is, especially compared to the $5 brush you can find everywhere. If you paint in and around your home, buy this brush - you won't regret it, although it's a lot more expensive than most other brushes on the market. You definitely get what you pay for in this…

Pros
  • For use with all paints
Cons
  • Expensive

Slightly thick for slicing B

I replaced the 2" Purdy my sister-in-law borrowed and ruined with this one. I mainly use a slicing brush and found it on the Tip a bit thick Holds plenty of color and good quality If I were to shop in a store I would choose something else for this purpose but I can't fault the quality of the brush Be aware you will find that this brush isn't the best if you want to cut through the ceiling. It works great on other areas and comes in handy when you need to put a lot of paint on a textured surface…

Pros
  • Angled top and knurled natural wood handle
Cons
  • Compatibility

POOR QUALITY - BRISTLES STAINED ALL OVER

I have used Purdy brushes for many years (just got rid of one that is over 20 years old) and have always considered them a benchmark for a paint brush. I was so disappointed with this replacement that I ordered. A lot of bristles came out on first use and I kept pulling them off my painting project or actively pulling them off the brush as soon as I saw them. This is because this is a new brush and I may not have "combed" the bristles beforehand. The 2nd, 3rd painting project came out with the…

Pros
  • Angled finish and knurled natural hardwood handle

  • Very expensive
