It was designed to mount a radar on a motorcycle but I see it as a good solution for other devices in environments where other methods might be difficult. Used this plate in combination with a RAM mounting arm and clip to mount my Valentine V1G2 to my motorcycle. VHB glue holds the metal plate to the motorcycle. the bottom of the radar, which is inserted into a plastic base and held in place with a magnet.
