Description of Raybestos MC2796 Professional Master Cylinder

Castings match original equipment design with aluminum used where appropriate, so that reduced weight does not stress the brake booster mounting. Appropriate metals used in construction to avoid chemical reactions that can lead to corrosion and early failure. Ultra-smooth cylinder bore finish ensures longer service life. Use of new plastic reservoirs prevents contamination and results in a leak-free seal. Fit type: Universal Fit.

The only downside is that it took a bit of time to install, but the end result was definitely worth it..

The overall performance has been impressive, providing me with more confidence and safety on the road. The only downside is that it IS a bit pricier than other options on the market. Nevertheless I highly recommend it to…

Made in the USA and fits perfectly

Fits perfectly on my 1960 Willy's Utility Wagon SUV. The underfloor position is a particularly awkward location for the master cylinder on this car; I'm glad I can still buy parts at a reasonable price. The problem is that it leaks from the piston seal at idle and I have to top it up every 6 months.

Pros
  • Brake System
Cons
  • Negative Impression
