This splash guard works great as long as you're not pouring hot water down the sink. The protector is made from a rubberized material that warps and twists (see photo) rendering it unusable. I resorted to pouring water from under the noodles in a nearby sink. If you only have one sink in your kitchen, DO NOT buy this product!

I just installed a new garbage disposal filter. It fits perfectly into Waste King's product opening. The vanes are narrower than the OEM filter and capture any solids in the top drain. Squeezing with any utensil will release the food into the grind component. This gives you a brief opportunity to inspect the grind before it hits the metal teeth.

The description made me think it was quite versatile. I have an InSinkErator and after my husband emptied the cupboard under the sink and worked so hard to sort out the disposal, we found the baffles didn't fit. Needless to say, he wasn't a happy camper. Now I have to wait for the quarantine to be over before I can come back for a refund - just a shame he had to spend over an hour trying to figure everything out!

Update this next step! The water just won't go away even after a few uses. My old fender broke so I decided to try these. Good value for 3 and they fit perfectly but the problem is the rubber is very very hard making it difficult for food and water to go down the drain. They have to give the water or food a good push to be recycled. They can break over time so I'll update my review.

I bought two Waste King L-2600's - one in 2015 and one in 2016. Both still work fine but the fenders have become hard over time and have deformed. Also, they get very dirty and sometimes need to be cleaned. I was delighted to find the right fenders and as of September 2020 they are only $7 for a three pack. I bought 2x3 packs and will just throw away the first set when they get dirty. And they seem to be more flexible than the originals.

Legend Waste King 8000 (Sink Recycle) Splashback Replacement: I've been buying these replacements for a number of years and it's nice to be able to replace them when they stink and the sink is clicking (a little lemon ball) more will not get rid of the smell. The last 3 pack I bought seems to be a bit thinner as there is a slight squirt when using the garbage chute. but not enough to stop using them. Then I rinse the sink with very hot water.

What do not like here? Got 3 of these (I may never use the other 2) in a pack.
