I went to the store and bought a stainless steel hole cover. I measured the hole and got the right size and it was useless. And I paid almost $4 for it at Lowe's. I don't know who would think that this item is stainless steel for this price and I don't know why we need stainless steel when building houses out of plastic pipe but according to reviews few people do what it's supposed to do very well. I ordered the "white" model from Revain. When it arrived the box said "Ice White Finish". To be fair to Revain, the images on their website match the grey/blue hue of the product fairly closely, but not quite as much in relation to my white sink as shown in the attached photo. Plastic is cheap, but serves its purpose. It could be worse. I've bought one before that had these teeth all the way around and I couldn't get it in the hole. I ended up bending and destroying one. So I bought it and it was very easy to install. You should be able to get under the sink to tighten it. You have to be careful not to overtighten, otherwise you will tear and then there is no fixation, then you have to buy another one. You can't tell from above that it's a cheap piece of plastic. So…

Color matches my Moen Noelle kitchen faucet (Mediterranean Bronze) perfectly. At first I couldn't get a secure and tight fit because the plastic nut that came with it didn't attach well to the wooden base of my counter. However, with a few extra sanitary washers (rubber sponges) I was able to get a tighter fit so I don't have to worry about water seeping into the cabinet below. It was fairly easy to install and almost a perfect match for the new faucet that was purchased as an add-on. However, there were a few scratches on the surface, so I'm not sure about durability; the time will show. This is a cheap item so the price is ok. You could give 4 or even 5 stars if it was in perfect condition and the necessary sealant was included to seal it according to the installation instructions.
