Definitely with Inktense blocks and pens!

Of all the water brushes available, this one is my favorite. Easy to fill and the lid is securely attached so no liquid will spill or evaporate when not in use. The bristles clean well without leaving stains when brushing when you're done. I just squeeze out the water and use a clean paper towel. They work great when I use my ink blocks and pens!

Works best in color

It works very well! The brush delivers a fairly steady flow of water. Easier to use than most traditional brushes, doesn't pill or bleed. The small painting took up about 1/3 of the water tank so I would consider traveling with it. I haven't used any other Aqua brushes so I don't know how they compare to the others but so far I'm happy with this one.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Low repairability

Good water control - colors

I'm relatively new to using watercolor pencils but after using them I found the water brush to be a handy tool. I have a medium sized brush and I love it, I can use it for detailed work on an illustration or to work in broad strokes over large areas. Some water brushes (I have another manufacturer's one that I no longer use) have trouble controlling the flow of water onto the paper, but the Sakura brush seems to control the flow much easier.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • So far so good

I felt that the price did not match the super cheap product.

One of the most expensive plastic items I've ever bought, I felt the price didn't match a super cheap item (I mean it's really just a plastic tube with some plastic in it). brushes at the end). However, it works very well and its innovation and usefulness is a delight. I love using it (be careful not to dip the brush in a cup of water) and I still recommend it. To update. I found that I could get a set of 3 identical "water tank brushes" for less than the price of one on another site, I totally

Great brush - good water flow

Medium brush #6 is my favorite. I have a collection of five medium Koi watercolor brushes that I paint with when I travel around Denver. Water seems to flow best with a size 6 brush. I like to paint watercolor and gouache with this brush on watercolor paper, clay plates and waterboards. I've tried small and large koi water brushes - the small brush squirts out too much water too quickly and is difficult to use. The large brush doesn't seem to get the water to flow at all, and if I press too…

Just a wonderful portable water brush

This watercolor brush is amazing, just what I wanted. It has enough water in it that I can easily use it (use my lap table in my chair at night and watch TV) without having to get up to fill it up. Besides, the nylon tip is small enough to get into corners like flower tips and leaves. The brush disassembles by unscrewing the tip from the lower water holder, making it ideal for traveling. However, I had a small problem with the water brush. The water tank has a plug that must be removed to use…

It made watercolors interesting again

Bring a small cup of water for cleaning). Then I found this little gem and couldn't be happier. Its size is very convenient to carry and easy to clean. I mainly use this brush for small little illustrations in my sketchbook and it does its job quite well (if I wanted to paint more serious watercolors I'm not sure I would use this brush but it still does a great job with mine little scribbles) . It holds a pretty decent amount of water and I can paint a bit before having to refill it (if you…
