Excellent vise for small jobs. Its size allows me to do about 90% of what I want to do in my garage workshop. From time to time I find a space that is too big. This vise was bought to replace my old ones and these vises are good quality and won't break the bank. It's accurate, has a good finish and a decent cast. I don't use it for heavy metal work, I don't think it's made for that. It has good clip width and length. I've read reviews about it and there was some concern that you can't close the vise when you open it, which didn't really bother me until it happened.
