It works. . . Type. This is normal and it will get the job done. But the instructions on the packaging and in the videos I watched were wrong. It says to put the edger lightly on the paint in the tray to get the paint on the edger. NOT CORRECT! If you do it this way, you can't control where the paint lands on the edger. Which means if the paint didn't hit the edger's edge, guess what? You won't get a good edge. Also, loading ink in the manner described can easily result in too much ink spilling
