Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

The market offers very strange evaluation criteria. Aperture? Why rate it with 5 stars? There are also "dark" lenses, but very cool ones. And there are very bad ones with aperture ratio of 1.8. The weight? Also nonsense, not a criterion, as it is extremely subjective. Security? And how do you think users will check the security of the lens? Broken - poorly protected, not broken - good? It seems to me that these questions do not reflect the essence of any lens at all. Much more valuable would…

Pros
  • Very sharp. Although inferior to the tops (for example, native 135 1.8), but not much and not critical. In addition, being covered up to 1.8, this 35 is already almost comparable in sharpness to a 135mm lens. Works in tandem with the A7iii stably and confidently, when working on tracking autofocus with a model in the studio - generally gorgeous, no problems. Gives a nice picture. Small filter size. Very good field of view sharpness. Silent. Color reproduction is excellent, the lens does not make noticeable adjustments to the surrounding space. Holds rabbits well. Works well with contrasting light.
Cons
  • Not fast enough when working with dynamic scenes, when you need to quickly refocus from one object to another. But it is paired with A7iii. I think with more advanced cameras, the lens would have shown itself much better. An obsolete construct (to the "mirror") lens was attached with an elongated shank, stupidly moving the lens away from the matrix. As a result, it is quite large and heavy. Well, okay.

Pros: Picture, sharpness, af in the eyes works cool even at 6300. After low-budget glass - the picture quality is ALL. Different cons: I put it on a 6300 crop and I’m still waiting for something, BUT some kind of frail little bottle, maybe flu on sevens. AF speed for 30mm contemporary is definitely higher)

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Its pros: The lens is awesome! Cutting. At first, I often missed on open diaphragms, but I already got the hang of it. I often shoot where there is little light and space, so this lens is just a salvation. I use it with a boya light filter so as not to spoil it, because I shoot children, they often poke their fingers, then spray, etc. Has cons: Heavy. True, I was already thinking of selling it and saving up for a 35-ku from Sony, which is 2 times more expensive, but I looked at the characterist

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

It feels like an absolutely monolithic design in the hand, without backlashes and gaps! Previously, I already owned the same one (there is a review here), but I was satisfied with CANON EOS 5D Mark III. Then SIGMA 30mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary on Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II (there is also a review), now I decided to return to this lens for Sony Alpha ILCE-7M2. In all three cases - without disappointment. Firmware Ver.01 at the time of purchase, bug-free. The lens focuses quickly enough and where…

Pros
  • Universal FR 35mm. Aperture f/1.4! Excellent used optical elements, materials and design with dust and moisture protection (and not on paper, but really there is a rubber sealing ring at the place of attachment to the bayonet). Sharp with an open, just ringing. Artistic pleasant bokeh of the ART-line, without any curls. Filter 67mm. The presence of an autofocus switch on the body. The presence of a scale. Great hood and lids. Already the traditional presence of a branded durable and hard case and with its better quality than competitors. There are no complaints about the firmware. Made in Japan.
Cons
  • Dimensions and weight, but everything is clear why. The price tag (however, as always, it is not more expensive than for other systems). Small XA, like most fast lenses, and even much more expensive ones.

There are several shortcomings, but, it corresponds to the norm.

The weight. With the addition of a useless lengthening piece of plastic for the Sony mount, it became simply huge. Guys, it was still possible to put up with the fact that 35ka from Sigma under Canon is a little longer than the native one, but it’s just tin. Well, this is 35 mm, not 1235. The question is, what the hell is such a log ? However, Sony, with all its fast short-focus lenses, has such a canoe. On the manufacturer's website, there is a song that with an adapter for Sony, all other…

Pros
  • Build quality. Aperture f/1.4. An alternative to lenses from Sony. Stability of characteristics from copy to copy in the Art series.
Cons
  • The weight. Dimensions. Autofocus in less than ideal conditions. The quality and speed of work in comparison with analogues of the Art series for other systems with an adapter (Sigma MC-11).
