Unfortunately a waste of money

First impression was ok, a little tight on the front teeth which was very noticeable when taking it off. The 2nd molding went too far into the molars and caused a gag reflex. The 3rd molding is more similar to the first, but I don't think the feeling of unwanted pressure on the front teeth is a good thing. I never did it more than 4 hours or so before waking up and removing. Honestly a waste of money for me. Let's get to testing the little Warden Plackers.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • The list is long.

High quality night protection!

This is my second night shield from Sova and I will NEVER buy from a dentist again. They took $500. And I chewed them for 6 months. It's easy to shape and holds up well to my constant grinding. It does discolor a bit after a while but that's the only small minus, I still prefer white so no problem. I'm your customer as long as I have teeth! Rschunimagu

Sova Max Night Watchman is great!

I bought this to see if it compares to the custom ones I got from my dentist. Although it took me three different tries to get what I wanted, it was fine. The third time was adorable. I love that you can put it back in hot water and start over. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Even though it's white, it works great. Fits perfectly and I slept in it all night. I have been grinding my teeth for many years and also have a TMJ. They can be worn by people with TMJ, otherwise my…

Front teeth problems in oral care

After the first modeling, it caused pressure on the front teeth, which caused pain in the teeth and discomfort in the shoulder area due to friction. I emailed the company first to confirm that it is non-refundable as it is open and that they are helping with the adjustment. I remolded to ensure it was a 'loose fit' and the pain and discomfort was still there, the subsequent adjustment and the decision was made to change the guard to a different thickness, the only change being the would be…

  • Long delivery time

Mediocre after sleeping with him

I push a lot. I do this at least 22 hours a day and even break a molar in half on a couple of particularly stressful days. The landing seems strange to me. The guard seems too small, not long enough. I had instructions for children so maybe they pass the child off as an adult? This doesn't seem to be enough to cover the back molars. On my second attempt at modeling, I did what another reviewer said and stretched the ends a bit, which seemed to help a bit. I have a pretty average mouth. Now you…

Too hard and injured front teeth

I shaped and remade (pro that you can do it!) but it was the most uncomfortable piece of equipment of all. I have had braces for a long time and have worn a retainer for many years which is much bulkier, stiffer and bulkier than a retainer. First I redid it because it turned out to be too tight the first time I tried to shape it; it is heavily compressed and feels like a painful brace on the front teeth. I ended up finding it reasonable so I wore it all night and my front teeth hurt/felt like I

Front teeth problem with mouth pain

After the initial sculpting, it caused pressure on the front teeth, resulting in tooth pain and shoulder discomfort from friction. I emailed the company first to confirm that it is non-refundable as it is open and that they are helping with the adjustment. I remolded to make sure it was a 'loose fit' and the pain and discomfort was still there, adjusted afterwards and made the decision to change the guard to a different thickness, the only change would be the thickness . Another edit made. To…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

In the foreword, let me say that I have a big head and big teeth. When my wisdom teeth were removed the doctor said they were one of the largest he had removed. My back molars are 12mm wide. My smile is 73mm wide at its widest point. That being said, I really wanted it to work. The molding process took forever because the guard didn't cover my back molars. I've found that if you heat it up a bit, then let it cool a bit, and then pull it, you can stretch it without compromising the integrity of…
