Stadea SWP101K: The Ultimate Variable Speed Wet Polisher Grinder For Concrete Countertop & Stone Polishing Review

Purchased to replace my pneumatic water grinder.at first I was a little leery about switching to an electric over pneumatic because of, well, water and electricity in such close proximity to each other, but after a few minutes of use, I became completely comfortable. Also, and very importantly, I soon realized the benefits of electric over pneumatic as I never have to wait for an air compressor to catch up. This grinder worked beautifully!

Purchased this after much research. I was looking for a wet polisher to polish a concrete countertop to a glass like surface. I'm not a professional so I wasn't looking at spending $500 on one but I also read horrible things about the $90 ones. I tried borrowing a friends cheap one but it wouldn't even turn because of rust and loose gears.I love this thing! I used 50 grit through 800 and it held its own all them. I bought the first polisher a week ago and it lasted less then 8 hrs of working time. The motor burned out. I returned the polisher and got the second polisher in three days which was great. I began using it and in 40 min the polisher motor failed again! I will obviously return this one and will never by this polisher again. I was hoping it was a one time problem but now its two in row. I would not buy this polisher and I definitely do not recommend it.

so the good - this stone polisher does the work - I was able to polish a large surface without it overheating, and I did not get an electric shock like some reviewers for a different brand warn. This grinder is great to use. Be prepared to repel water during use. I didn't get even one shock while using this, even standing in the water during use, with simple care to not get water inside the electrical portions of the grinder.Carving rough stone down to final grit is quite quick, and the lower grits really cut much quicker than i imagined. I am freehand polishing stone, but eventually will attempt to re-surface an old granite-slab tabletop.

First one within 30 seconds intermediately would turn off and wouldn’t turn on. Ordered a replacement plugged it in and it too wouldn’t turn on. Click the switch several times and it would turn on only to turn off. Not for me. Both going back

This equipment performed perfect. I first used it with a 20mm bullnose diamond grinding wheel to bullnose a freshly cut granite countertop. then used it with the full set of diamond polishing pads and job turned out perfect. Would highly recommend to others.

I liked the smoothness of the motor and the water feed on the bottom. I had a issue with the speed control not working. It would randomly rev up and slow way down. Had to do my first amazon return which was really simple!

Valve leaked first use. Same complaint as others had. Poor mounting design.Had to get the job done or would have returned it. I'm going to see if I can get a new valve.

I use this for polishing rocks (2" or larger) and it works great. It is easy to set up and work with. You can control the water flow using a simple valve control. The handle is a nice addition to ease with holding the polisher.I have also used this to grind down some rough cement in my back yard and it worked great.

Works as advertised, my only complaint is that this set did not come with a 3000 grit disc that is needed for that deep glossy shine.

The tool worked well. A problem I did have was herring the diamond cup wheel off after using it. The supplied wrench bent and to this day I haven't gotten it off the tool.
