I bought these nozzles for printing on carbon impregnated filament as they are hard enough not to wear down the built in fibers. I recently bought this nozzle with the intention of using it for heavier media and longer life which I think attracts many others to this nozzle. With traditional brass nozzles, heavier materials like carbon fiber and wood will wear out the nozzle faster and you will likely need to replace it frequently (about every 1-4 weeks depending on how often you print).
