This handle is very easy to fit with pliers or an adjustable wrench. That's good news. The bad news for me is that my tank is crooked so I had to bend them and being plastic they break easily. I recently tried a new hair dryer heating technique that required me to adjust the angle. This worked great allowing me to bend the plastic without cracking or breaking. Once adjusted, the handle fits freely in the flush cylinder, preventing the handle from sticking.

This was a replacement for the Mansfield Model 160 grip. Compared to the original, the plastic 'shank' was slightly longer than the original but can easily be modified with a saw . But they are angled towards the front of the cistern. Once you break it and pull the strings, if you remember to pull the handle all the way up, you'll know it'll continue to stick and the toilet will leak. This is an exact replacement for my Mansfield toilet handle. To install, I had to saw off about 3 inches of the lever arm to fit the feedback shift interface (third photo). The sleeve cannot be threaded through the loop without shortening the sleeve or disassembling the toilet bowl. I decided to cut off my hand.
