I have mixed feelings about these colored pencils. Although they have excellent pigmentation, they are very firm. I do not recommend them if you have hand problems.

I bought these crayons thinking they were erasable... mainly because it came with an eraser but it doesn't erase well. It still leaves color behind.

Nice little set with pale colors for coloring projects. They definitely have their place in painting projects.

There is a BIG problem with this set of pencils. Each pencil is individually wrapped with a UPC label that I had to break up. Pencils are shipped unsharpened and no sharpener will work with UPC labels wrapped next to the pencil head. They sharpened crookedly, but they broke and didn't sharpen at all. Who decided to do this? Beautiful pastel colors and ideal for colouring. Oranges, but These Tombow pens are for coloring. Premium Prismacolor pencils are softer and contain more pigment. It's fine for fine art, but when you color, apply enough pigment to fully cover the lines. Even if the paper is textured, the Prismacolor pencils are so soft that they only color the top of the texture. You need to be able to apply some pressure to the pen to get a really smooth finish. I've recently embraced the bullet journaling trend and have been trying different pens and pencils for my journal. I usually use Prismacolor pencils, but the lead is so soft that any intense colouring/drawing I did in my journal would carry over to the next page.
