The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

A number of times the media that was well protected were lost. The disk is operating nicely. With its positives being: Excellent drives for USB 3.0. I purchased two units for the price of one for more than one and a half years. I use it for work approximately twelve hours per day, and the disks, most of which are from Toshiba, perform without interruption inside. Keeping the USB3.0 switch disconnected from the drive provides an additional layer of data security. The customer is happy with their

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

Got pros: In addition, there are no scratches on the body. Disk volume. Because of the reliability of disks produced by this brand, I've already purchased my fifth external disk. The first disk was a 500 GB drive with a double tail; I have had it for more than ten years, and it is performing perfectly even now. Cons: The rubberized case, which attracts dust and lint particles that attach to the rubber shell; however, if you clean it down with a moist towel, it will be as good as new.

Exactly what I needed, it's a great buy, I recommend it.

If we remove ourselves from this, we find that most things are satisfactory. Plastic is pleasant, construction is solid, it is silent, it is cool, and it is cheap. The default box for SMART is green. No testing will be conducted because I am an outcast and a relic, and because I do not have any accessible USB 3.0 ports. They say they'll keep you safe from blows (I really hope I don't check). There are no more questions for them after three years of consistent plowing with three external…

Pros
  • Quiet. It all began with a malfunctioning USB 2.0 connector on the laptop (not all external hard drives can be powered by the computer alone). It does not get hot (despite having a strong plastic exterior case, which may just not conduct heat quickly enough). While it may be short, the cable is not oak.
Cons
  • Micro USB 3.0 port. No, I knew exactly what I was doing, but this layout is really condescending. Since this is only for archival purposes, the disk will only be connected seldom, thus there's no need to worry. Overall, the scarcity of USB-type C disks was a major disappointment to me. There are a lot of phones, but nobody seems to mind that you can't build cords with USB Type A on one side and Type C on the other, contrary to Google's and USB's guidelines. The makers of tough ones, though, are legit. After all, even providing electricity is unnecessary there. Most importantly, though, they highlighted up top that they are now installing Western Digital. Unfortunately, the Seagate ST2022LM007 has a flaw I was hoping wouldn't be there. It's not like this is very important, the series doesn't appear to have failed, and Seagate clearly has some skill with disk manufacturing. However, WD has recently begun cutting back on his mowing schedule even further. It reads 2022, Taiwan on the disc cover, and I got it around the end of January 2022 from a popular orange discounter.

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

I recently acquired a German case and another comparable HDD for myself. I enjoyed Hard a lot. There are many cables in the identical models: 1. a 3990 buy. The hard drive came with a cable that was about 50 cm long and had two USB ports on the PC side (for extra power). 2. Purchased for 3287R, the least expensive price. The hard drive had one USB connector and a wire that was around 45 cm long, which accounts for the short cable. Hards are of the same caliber.

Pros
  • dependable, noiseless, supports USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, third degree of protection, in a protective rubberized case, etc.
Cons
  • did not observe.

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

On a dated motherboard (Asus P5G41T-M LE), Win7 32-bit works perfectly through this controller with an external hard drive (on USB 3.0). Nearly 40Mb/s are written. Prior to that, I attempted to use splitters and converters to connect an external drive to two USB 2.0 ports (to have enough power), but the attempt was largely unsuccessful (it only worked when one of the two USB 2.0 connectors was linked to a USB port on a different card reader rather than the mother). And now everything runs…

Pros
  • Works, Firm, and Quality
Cons
  • - I had to use a little bit of mental effort to locate the drivers on the disk and get the device operating (by attaching additional power through the SATA port) because there was too much unnecessary trash in the package and files on the provided disk.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Five of these discs are mine. That's right: four fours and a two. The first one is a whopping 2 TB in size. He is a young lad of seven. The two-year-old model has a storage capacity of four terabytes. There were no malfunctions, freezes, or corrupted data. The drive's vibration and noise levels should be checked prior to purchase. No miracles will occur if the first disk is in good working condition. It's important to put the disk in its functioning position before plugging it in, and to avoid…

Pros
  • Easy to use layout. Taking hands is a practical option. Stays put on the dining room table. Quiet. Reliable. Outstanding technological specifications.
Cons
  • This is a connector, therefore it's not a hindrance in any way. Perhaps it won't be to everyone's taste.

I have had this disc for three years. Unlike other brands, it did not burn out after a year. Works fast enough. Got pros: Worked well for several years, unlike other brands. I want to replace my old one with the same one Some cons: Three years later, the usb port loosened up. Once again it is better not to touch and not be chained to the disk, it is disconnected.

Transcend did a great job with this product!

This is my original review. However, I searched Transcend for a broken Transcend hard drive and the service was fantastic. They were able to take all my information off the hard drive, put it on a new Transcend hard drive and ship it to me for free. I am very happy! (Original Review - Transcend Military 2TB USB 3.0 H3 External Hard Drive (TS2TSJ25H3B) was drop tested and worked fine for about 6 months and then stopped working. None of my laptops or computers recognized it. However, I have tried

Useless. Returned. best in computers and accessories

Had high hopes after reading some positive reviews - but it's nonsense, doesn't work and almost meets expectations and was sent back Software Transcend has Problems recognizing the device. After 10 attempts to just back up the files, I gave up because I got a "Backup Failed" error about 1/3 of the way through each time. Tried different files and folders but failed to back up every time. Lost several hours in vain. Instructions, website and documentation p. A simple backup device in 2017…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • I have no dislikes, everything is fine

Update 6/10/20: Reinstalled software and earned one-touch backup. But all of this was done through trial and error. The documentation that comes with it and is available online is TERRIBLE. Transcend: Hire a native English speaking technical writer and have them rewrite all your content. Please. Original, hard drive boots normally. Good luck finding Elite backup software installation instructions. Dig around the site for a while and you won't have any luck. As for one touch backup? Steam. That…

Mac users should look out for external hard drives

For some reason this Transcend drive wouldn't work with my Mac. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the Mac to accept it for use as a Time Machine backup, so I just treated it like a giant USB drive and dragged all my files onto it. Not exactly what I intended to use the 1TB drive for. I don't know what the problem is. I have a Macbook Pro 13" 2016, a properly formatted Mac drive, and the Mac specifically told me I can't use it for Time Machine. I think I'll have to buy another Toshiba for…

Broke within a day

I bought this to archive files from several old hard drives. The tag worked perfectly, I transferred 75 gigs with no problems. Then it started giving me error messages and stopped working. I can transfer data from there but not from inside. Replaced with something else. I wouldn't even bother writing a bad review if I didn't have to spend an hour on the line with Revane just to get return authorization from some idiot who kept giving me command line crap to try that didn't once a computer I…

"One Touch Backup " does not work

This is a bit disappointing. I bought a Transcend 4TB USB 3.1 Gen 1 StoreJet 25H3B SJ25H3B Rugged External Hard Drive TS4TSJ25H3B external hard drive so I can extract some files that I don't always use on my two computers but don't want to delete. First the features: The disc is small, light and fits well in the hand. I could put it in my purse or pocket and I highly doubt the extra weight would kill me. The drive is actually a little less than 4TB (3.93TB) because it has a driver/program…
