The product is cheap and although it looks retro the construction is certainly modern and flimsy. Some keys didn't hit the page evenly, so the font was disabled. I'm sorry to say we had to send it back.

If you plan on writing anything other than spaces, don't buy this. It's more of a novelty than what it was designed for - typing! Some of the core features drop out by default. I didn't have to retrain on how to use a familiar item. It's just nonsense.

Not satisfied. It looks fine with all my craft supplies, but the keys print unevenly. And I was practically clapping my fingers to type. I thought maybe I need to oil it or something but after reading the reviews. I see that many people have the same problems.

The other reviews scared me but I'm glad I bought it. Works perfectly. Very reliable. I love working without having to plug anything in or look at another screen! I've typed about 50 pages so far and haven't had any issues with alignment, legibility, spacing, etc. Works exactly like a typewriter should. These are bare bones with a classy look, which is what I wanted. Instructions for accessing and winding the tape could be better but overall a good buy.

This is a good looking typewriter that lacks the essential features of older typewriters and does not compete with vintage typewriters. This model is made of plastic, including many parts that are traditionally made of metal. Also, this model does not have a body or carriage locking lever, which are required.
