Easy installation and easy on the wallet.

These did the trick! They look nice, were really affordable and took me about 15 minutes to clip them together and secure them in place. I knocked off a star because the bottom half comes in a nice matte black finish, but the pyramid on top came in a high gloss black. They looked really weird so I just bought a can of matte black car spray paint and hit all the pyramids with that before clipping the pieces together. I specifically used "rustoleum matte finish custom shop black" for anyone that…

Perfect Fit best in my review

Looked all over for a cover for our 4x4 inch post. Most we found were not true to size. Make sure you measure the actual size of the cap you will need, otherwise you might order a 4x4 and get a 3.5x3.5

Works perfectly on my fence posts

The local stores did not have post end caps that fit my posts unless I wanted to spend a fortune. These work perfectly and are reasonably priced. I only needed two right now, but I will be ordering more in the future.

good to go in my review

I glued it on the top of a steel post. Not what it was made for, but works fine. One of those things you must have, but once installed, never think of anymore. Seems to be heavy duty plastic.

  • Looks great. Keeps moisture out of top end of 4x4 address post.
Cons
  • Did not fit my posts. Needs a flat top to mount too. My tops are tapered.

Unhappy 😡 best in my review

Very unhappy with this product! Purchased last August and they have all turned yellowish and have mildew on them. I can get rid of the mildew but, I cannot turn them white! Looks terrible against the white of the railing and posts! I spent enough money and now it's just a waste! Will be replacing!

at first I bought one to see if they were as good as what Lowes, Menards and Home Depot sells, the were much better and they were cheaper.
