I bought this SSD as my main boot drive for Windows to speed up my computer. The difference in my computer's performance (boot time, application launch time, etc.) was amazing! Problem: The drive was very inconsistently recognized by my ASUS H87M PLUS motherboard. This meant that on each reboot it took 2-5 reboot attempts before the drive was recognized. OCZ has around 10.12. Made production changes to keep the cost of these drives down. The end result is slower performance, less usable storage space (only 107GB of 111 formatted verses on the originals), and potentially reduced lifespan. I did a lot of research before pulling the SSD trigger. At first I thought I would go with Intel as they are highly rated everywhere and some of the best drives out there.
