Replace wire nut

Delivery took quite a long time. Excellent connections. They are suitable for both solid and stranded wire and can be reused for solid wire instead of stranded wire. Conforms to NEC requirements.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Good product, best for stripping wires

I'm not a professional electrician, just someone who has to mess with electrical wiring from time to time. Compared to wire nuts, I LOVE working with these connectors. I would buy them again if needed.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons

They have their uses.

Allegedly suitable for 18-12 solid and stranded wire. Worked well on a single wire but didn't hold a stranded siren in a fixture. They have their own use, for example to connect multiple solid wires in an outlet or junction box. Quick and easy and they really save space.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons

Works as advertised

I bought these to make 12 gauge connections in tight spaces. They worked great, nice and secure, and there wasn't a single problem once I turned everything on. They will take a little time to get used to and you should be able to place the wires correctly. Visual inspection is required after wiring.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Little things

Ease of Use: Wire Stripper

I wanted to connect 3 power wires to the main positive wire on my 1953 Chevy truck. 3 wires attached to the odometer housing on my 1953 Chevy truck provide the odometer light; The main benefit is the one that provides power for the odometer lighting. This product easily solved my problem! It is easy to use and very convenient.

Ideal for solid conductors

They are slightly more expensive but allow for very quick and easy connection of solid conductors. I tried this type of connector once on stranded wire and couldn't get it to work as intended, at least for some gauges of wire. I will try stranded cables again in the future, but for solid conductors they are perfect.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors

Really nice to use.

wire nuts, 12-2 wires and I can't figure it out. This product has made this process really easy. I've used Wago lever connectors in junction boxes and these types in other parts of the circuit. The wire has to be very straight to insert and it takes some force to push the wire through, but it's not hard at all compared to working with 12-2 wire nuts. Problem solving product.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Not for stranded wire

They're great for Romex solid wire, but stranded wire is a total mess. I installed headlights, and headlights have stranded wire. I spent more time getting the wires in than they were worth. I've tried soldering stranded wire in place and even trying to insert it the wire broke where the wire jacket began. I ended up soldering single core wires to stranded wires. Just using wire nuts would take half the time. I wouldn't buy them again when dealing with strands.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive
