Now my favorite polish!

I just finished 3 pieces of furniture for my son's room with this material and it was amazing! Super easy to use. I just rubbed it down with torn bits of an old cotton t-shirt. It's easy to apply, has a decent run time and even if you feel like you made a mistake applying it, it dries smooth and is almost crystal clear! Very minimal yellowing compared to oil based products which is what I wanted. Really preserves the natural color of the wood. After some trial and error, I'm just saying that…

FIRST EXPERIENCE WIPE ON POLY

This brand can't be wrong. Anyway, I would recommend for beginner typewriters to watch some YouTube videos on how to apply water based polymer and then experiment with wood before proceeding to actual repair/finishing. It's a dry/satin finish, but I've found that if you're just trying to polish a table and still get an oily, shiny end result, I've found that with this product it's possible. I have refurbished 3 tables and after 3 months they are all holding up great with heavy wear and tear…

It takes some practice, but it's worth it.

I make a lot of furniture and have relied on oil based rubbed polyester for years. The most important thing to know about this product is that it is completely different from oil-based wipes, so you cannot try to apply it using the same methods. This product is much thicker than an oil based product and dries MUCH faster. You have about 30 seconds to work it after it touches the wood before it gets sticky. You have to work very fast to keep the work area moist on the surface in order for your…

Beautiful on maple.

I bought a transparent satin doily on polyethylene. I fixed an old table. I think it's maple, but I'm not 100% sure. That was my first experience with poly. The previous owners had placed what appeared to be a hot pot on the table and left a very deep burn mark. First I sanded the entire table and sanded away the burn marks. Then I applied about four or five coats of this polymer. I bought cheap sponges from Revain. I simply sprinkled some product on the table, used a sponge applicator and…

Guitar Mahogany Kidney Table

Mahogany Guitar (and the table looks great). I rubbed the first layer with old white socks. Waited 3 hours and sanded with 220 sandpaper, that removed most of it. Apply 2nd layer. Waited 3 hours, sanded with 220 grit paper and applied a third coat. After a while I added a final, heavier layer just for fun. This mahogany was very "greedy" and porous so it absorbed the shine. The guitar looks great. I ended up with 2/3 of the can left, so I poured some on the mahogany table. I used almost 1/3…
