Lasted less than 3 months

Bought a waterdrop filter (model 15UA) for my kitchen sink and had it professionally installed. Month worked fine, but after that the water pressure started to drop. The water pressure continued to decrease until it was almost a drop. At that time three months had passed and I had to remove the filter. Note. I have another company's water filter for my fridge and it lasts longer than the instructions say and doesn't affect the water pressure. .I contacted Waterdrop via email and never received…

Easy filter installation and replacement

I had a bad experience with leaking Aquasana filters for two years. They aren't for sale and don't have a parts list so I couldn't replace the o-rings let alone a mess. Waterdrop 15UA-UF 0.01 micron tastes better than the Aquasana triple filtration system and the only o-rings I've seen have been replaced with a new filter. Until I test the water I can't tell if it actually filters. I installed this unit in my basement over a deep sink and routed a line to a separate faucet in the kitchen. I…

So far, so good! on kitchen and bathroom accessories

I live in a house from 1949 and it still has the original, well dug up. Basically a hole 66 feet deep and 3 feet in diameter. The water isn't terrible, my well water was much worse but I didn't like the taste. It's been tested for bacteria and all my animals have been drinking it for 5 years so I know it's safe. Anyway, I have a modern faucet and this thing installs in no time, no problem. But the reason I'm writing this is to report that I can't tell the difference between purified bottled…

Best quality clean water in kitchen and bathroom fixtures

Just installed this filter. It seems to work. I don't notice any difference in the taste of the water, which is good for me. No chemical or plastic aftertaste. Prior to installation I installed a three stage whole house filtration system that filters down to 5 microns. I think people who say it clogs up so quickly should install a whole house filter first to get rid of the larger particles. The only problem I have are the hoses. One 3/8 male, the other 3/8 female. My shut off valve is 3/8 and…

Great filter, easy to install but doesn't last long.

The unit comes with everything you need to set it up and is very easy to install. The taste of the water is very distinctive. Extremely impressed. The water pressure was reduced a bit but it was worth it as there were no more water jug filters to refill. Edit: Unfortunately I have to rate my review negatively. After 30 days I had almost no water pressure. Water Drop customer service was great and sent me another filter but after another 30 days my water pressure went away. They send me a return

Pros
  • Plumbing for the kitchen and bathroom
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Perfect product, replace reverse osmosis immediately!

So I have pretty rough well water (high TDS, iron, weird smells, sediment, etc.) and needed a reliable source of drinking water when I first moved in. Osmosis thought it was the best! But then I discovered that over-purifying the water actually created its own problems. Basically, micronutrient deficiencies were causing muscle spasms, headaches, and everything else. I tried using a product to add minerals back to the water but some of these products also contained lead and it was very difficult

Pros
  • Water filtration and softening
Cons
  • Some small things

A month so far so good.

The water in my town is so heavily chlorinated that it is undrinkable. Sometimes my eyes water while washing the dishes. There is also much rust-like sediment. I have tried different brands of faucet filters and pitcher filters. The chlorine is so strong I filtered the water twice which adds up as the jug and faucet filters have to be changed constantly. I refuse to buy water in plastic bottles, despite the well-known harms caused by the production, transportation and disposal of plastic. I…
