Not very - very dull, thin wires and no locknuts on shaft

I added these to my trailer as license plate lights. They are very cheap, but because of the cheapness they are practically useless. Very weak, with very thin wires. It's only really useful if you're trying to meet the minimum legal requirement for a license plate light, but they don't really illuminate anything to any meaningful extent. You should be using Ni-Lock nuts or something similar if it's the vehicle, not the plain nuts they have now. None of these changes have a significant impact on

Great product: Accent and off-road lighting

Although I ended up not using them because they didn't work with my setup. It's not the products. This is a great solution for motorcycles. The only downside I've seen with them is how to connect them. If you run the wires through the bolt hole and one of the wire sockets you will not be able to remove the license plate. I don't think there is a plug small enough to go through the license plate screw holes if you need to change your license plate. It's okay because you can live for many years…

Not very bright

Received fairly quickly - Revain Prime almost instant delivery, no complaints about it (my 50/50 experience with One Day Prime is 'one day they will ship') on same type lamp, if you put them in pairs on a motorcycle sized sign they will probably suffice. Amount and luminosity for a standard US license plate. not as much. Get the three LED style if this is your fair use and you want closer to OEM lighting. On the other hand, these headlights are great for things like heater controls or as glove…

Looks good and works well

I don't know what the other reviewers said, they are not very bright, they are almost too bright for the number plate light. The wire is insanely thin but it has to be such that it can go through the threaded end of it, they're not a high power source so they don't need thicker wire. The downside to thin wire is that they don't make a connector that I could find small enough to work with. I ended up using waterproof crimp shrink red butt connectors. I just stripped the wire gently so I could…

They operate at less than 12 volts.

I'm actually using them as console lights in a stereo portable keyboard amp I'm building. I only run them at 9 volts (75% power) but they do their job well so I expect them to be really bright at a full 12 volts when installed in a car. I hope I never test how weather resistant they are as the rest of the system won't survive getting wet. I am very satisfied with them: they give more than enough light, their angle does not blind the operator of the console, since they are very small (like two…
