These are great anchors

Today I installed two rails with it. WingIt anchors are really good. Be confident and buy a WingIt drill. It makes a hole of the exact size needed for the anchors. I'm not Bob Villa either, I'm more like Tim Taylor. Even I got it right. If you're buying handrails with anchors, you're buying Glacier Bay handrails. They're cheaper than the Wing It rails and just as good.

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Best Wall Mount

I use mine on stair railings. It was loosened, originally attached with another type of anchor available at your local hardware store. I installed mine in drywall. They were so easy to install.1. Drill a 3/4 inch hole where you will need the anchor. Join the two plastic pieces together so they don't separate when you insert them into the hole.3. Align what you need, insert the screw and screw it all the way in. Just. FYI only use cavity walls, they won't work if there is a shelf directly behind

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works great!: Fasteners

We installed a floating entertainment center and it saved the day. They are so strong and can carry a lot of weight. A few years ago we bought a block that came with hardware to attach the block to the wall studs. We were naΓ―ve and thought the manufacturer knew the weight and provided the right gear for the job. The device and TV fell off the wall within an hour. Not a very good experience. We bought them with a new TV and we haven't had a single problem. The device is securely attached to the…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

I will admit that initial use is a little counterintuitive, but after using one or two you will see results. Requires a 0.5" drill bit, pilot drill a hole in the drywall. Extend the edges a few millimeters in each direction or you'll have to fight them to get them into the hole. Holds about 200 pounds of bookshelves each about 36 inches wide with only 3 brackets per shelf, no sagging or other issues. Note that tightening a screw may not engage threads; Be patient, the screw only pulls VERY, so…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
