🎨 Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolor Paint Set - Pack of 12 Vibrant Colors for Artists Review

I would like the red to be a bit darker in this set, but these colors work well for primary colors and for mixing a variety of colors to balance the size. It's good if you want to mix your own better, which I had to work on. The container is not too crazy, 6 mixing wells in the lid, white with rounded corners. The trays tend to fall out when they are new and have no dried paint stuck to them. I dropped it and these little paint pots went all over the place and the paint came out, it was a mess.

I love this little palette. I didn't use the paint that came with it, but my pot halves that I filled with professional quality paint fit in the gaps in the palette with ease. I can slide them in and out if I want to change my color palette. I prefer this plastic palette to metal because not only is it lighter, but the paint mixes better in the mixing wells. My wife (wife) has a brush set and a compact set. At first I had a compact set, but I wanted a few more colors (for beginners) and a set that was portable enough for the trip ahead. I love the box that comes with this set. The colors themselves aren't bad, some colors need a little work to get the pigment out of the pan. I made color swatches on canson xl watercolor paper (as shown in the pictures). I have some problems with colors.
