Heavy and well made. The thing holds. We've never done a dovetail joint before and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. It took us a few tries to learn how to line up one end perfectly every time.

Received in the mail and placed in workshop for later use. I just recently put it together and when I pinched the tree, one of the plastic supports broke into 3 pieces. I am very upset about this. I was hoping to get a fun box building tool.

This arrived at my doorstep today with washers and other small pieces of metal falling out of the seams of the box. I don't know if it's all there or not, I'll have to post again after Father's Day as it should be a welcome gift for my dear husband. Right now I'm angry and it might just come back.

2 stars because it arrived broken in what appeared to be an already opened and resealed package. If anyone is interested, you can purchase the exact same contraption from port charters for around $30. No joke, exactly the same. I did this. Works well enough once you put it in. Great for boxes and small boxes, but it has its limitations.

Woodstock dovetail mount uses inferior materials and techniques. I took a risk on a product based on price: a big mistake. The device failed right out of the box for a number of reasons. My biggest complaints: 1. The side stops aren't straight; 2. the fence is not tightened and slips out of position; and WORSE, the clamps (cams) rely on plastic bushings rather than metal bushings and break with minimal force, rendering the device unusable.
