From day one, this was the only SOAP my parents used. It was 100 years ago. bets are lost. BUT, of course, all bets are made by men. Whether they win or lose. How many people want these bets to happen to very close relatives. Their children, wives, husbands, for what. Just ruin family friends? Because of the money? I just started. May be. OR NO. many men laugh. many.

is that ivory NO ! is it soap NO !

absolute rubbish. It's not soap, it's a slightly compressed mush. The inner shell is built into the "latch"; it had to be torn to shreds with a fingernail. It's so far from the ivory soap I've been using for years, but then look at where it's made: no country of origin, "imported to Canada for PG&E," meaning China because kanukas are no country of origin to have. import law. It's really incredible that they can screw up an American classic like that.

For me still the best bath soap, but I was very disappointed.

Not much bigger than a 3.17 ounce bar, I've been looking for this for a long time (I used to buy them from Publix) so my recollection of the larger bar was wrong. Still the best bath soap for me but I was very disappointed that I had not checked the weight of the bars I already had and would have saved myself the disappointment of seeing a bar of soap not much larger than the ones which I already have, it's DINKY . bathroom size bar? I do not think so!

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Something's wrong

I bought this ivory for an elderly friend who doesn't use a computer. She told me that she can only use ivory soap on her skin or she will sleep. I find exactly the opposite. I never use ivory soap. It's drying me out too much. During the pandemic, I thought I'd surprise them with Ivory bars. Anyone who has ever packed this soap in a postal envelope should know that the ivory colored soap wrapper has been torn to pieces. The envelope was padded and normal looking. Come on outrageous! Nowadays…

Ivory Soap is great for many reasons

I have been buying Ivory liquid soap for as long as I can remember as it was one of the last remaining soaps that didn't have anti-bacterial properties and added chemicals. Years ago the Ivory liquid hand soap was discontinued in stores and I couldn't find it anywhere online. So now I use Ivory bars in combination with moisturizing soap to make my own liquid hand soap and then fill it in our kitchen and bathroom sink dispensers. Each batch is one gallon and uses only 2 ivory sticks and 1 bar of

He swims. - Soap

I love ivory soap. It actually cleans you without leaving a film like some soaps do. I wash my hair with soap and it's sparkling clean. We took him to the local pond and swam with him - you couldn't lose him because he swims! The scent evokes pleasant family memories.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Not everything fits
