The colors were dull and lacked depth and richness, and the consistency was too thick making it difficult to work with. I am 5ft 3 inches and weighs 200lb post partum! . Waist 36" and hips 49" and I bought XL. It fits amazing! Even if you are a 38 waist you still can buy XL as it does have the right amount of stretch. The material is soft and very breathable. It is high waisted ( yes over the navel) and comfy- holds the tummy in and smooths out those love handles. It does not roll down. The version of this that I ordered is "Bamboo - 18' x 13' x 1.2' - XL Size".The item arrived smelling very strongly of wood glue. After 3 weeks and a few washes, it still smells more than I'd like but I suppose it's acceptable at this point (but who wants to smell wood glue while they're trying to eat?).Anyway, the bigger issue is that after 3 uses the product has become warped. Normally I can't stand to wear underwear and only do it during my periods. I needed some for a backpacking trip that would be comfortable and stand up to some athletic wear without stretching, shifting, and chafing.
