Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Halo Automotive Premium Fanless 5202 LED Conversion Kit: High-performance 40w 8,000Lm 6000K White - 2 Year Warranty Included! by Etai Gopala

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much better than what I originally said.

Halo Automotive Premium H3 Fanless LED Conversion Kit - 40W 8000lm 6000K White CREE - 2 year warranty and great light! So it happened that my fog light installation was rotated 90 degrees. The LED elements were aimed up and down rather than side to side. So the beam of light was directed half onto the road and half onto the treetops. I modified the bulbs by cutting out the necessary cutouts and positioning them correctly and now I have a great beam of light! It shines very brightly, but doesn't confuse oncoming drivers, I always drive with the fog lights on, and they help a lot to illuminate the road ahead. So I changed my rating to 5 points. Make sure the LED elements are next to each other and you will get great light. My first review is below. I bought these H3 size LED bulbs to fit my Range Rover Classic's optional fog lights. I already have a great HID Xenon kit so I needed a set of LED bulbs to customize the look and improve the lighting. The first goal was successful. These LED bulbs have a beautiful white color; maybe just under 6000K so they match the xenon HID color very well. Look very good, good quality for the price. I chose this type because of the fanless design; nothing could be installed on the original fog lights, which had a bulky rear. A metal strip heatsink was the perfect solution. However, what is important for those who want to use these in standard H3 housings: these LED bulbs are still much larger at the rear than standard H3 halogen bulbs. If you have limited space in the back, they won't fit. I had to cut a hole in the plastic backing of my fog lights to let most of the LED bulbs (and strip heatsinks) out. The second goal - better lighting - was not as good as expected. They're brighter than standard halogen, but not by much. My other car has some H4 bulbs (from another manufacturer) which were significantly better than the standard halogens; these H3, on the other hand, deliver almost the same light output as halogen lamps. However, the focusing of the light cone is excellent, like a standard incandescent bulb, so they illuminate the road just as well and slightly better than halogen bulbs. This is commendable, because the main disadvantage of LED lamps is the lack of focus and a restless and scattered beam of light, a defect that these lamps do not have. Therefore, these are quite good LED bulbs to replace halogen bulbs; They give off a nice white light and have a great design for installation in tight spaces. The light output is as good or better, so there's nothing to lose but something to gain.
