Very easy to use and the instructions are very simple. You simply unscrew the bottom cover and insert 4 AAA batteries, then close the compartment and put the cover back on. You then remove the screw cap from the top and pour in your favorite liquid soap. If it's too thick, pre-mix it with water. I found our soap to be thicker, but it didn't need to be mixed. Then just turn it on by pressing the power button! When using the motion sensor it takes several times to push the soap through the dispenser and take it out if you put your soap in FIRST. Just like with a manual dispenser, you have to get it through the "tubes"! Love the sleek design, perfect for the bathroom or kitchen. I wish there was foam on sale as we both use it, but overall I love this product, especially for the price!
