This is the second strap I have ordered of this type (different color) and this second strap keeps stretching beyond the length I set. I went to extremes and made the strap as short as possible (so very tight) and after refastening the buckle the strap lengthened again after a few minutes. some sort of problem with the correct buckle where the belt slips and folds into. I think the problem is actually that the strap material itself is too slippery and the strap won't stay in place. And forget about putting heavy tools on the belt that will pull on the belt and lengthen it instead of supporting one of the tools at your side. I don't know how to solve the problem. Make the strap "dirty" so it doesn't slip? Roughen the center bar of the right buckle around which the belt folds so it doesn't slip off?
