You don't want to wear it crooked like me. If you have access to a spirit level, use it to draw a horizontal line to align the sticky pad. I thought I was even, but I was wrong and it looks terrible. And don't think you can take your pad off without a blow dryer or heat gun (on the lowest setting) because you won't even right after you put it on. trust me on that. My user error aside, this is a great item and I don't think you need to worry about it coming off if it's on a smooth surface that you've cleaned with alcohol. and had to take it off. I used the heat gun on low. Just keep moving it as you don't want to overheat a spot. I had to use a flat head screwdriver to force the hook part to loosen. I also used a screwdriver to pry the basket off the hook. Simply place the blade on the wire and strike the handle from below. The whole thing took about 10 minutes. There was some glue left and it was painful to remove. I just rubbed it with my thumb until it curled up and came loose.
