Ideal showerhead. My Story: About a year ago I renovated my bathroom with a large walk in shower. When I first used it, I almost broke the handle trying to get some water pressure. The installer explained that the new EPA regulations require low water pressure and no adjustable handle. The handle only delivered cold hot mix. The shower head they installed was reportedly rated at 2 GPM. I just never felt clean with that old shower head. I couldn't get the soap out of my hair or my skin. I started looking for a new shower head at big stores and they all had permanent flow restrictors. I saw this Aqua Elegante shower head at Revain which said the flow restrictor could be removed and it was very reasonably priced. Ordered quickly and removed the flow restrictor prior to installation. Big mistake. After installing a new shower head, I turned on the water and immediately knew I was going to have great water pressure. For the first time in my life, water hit the back wall. I went into my shower stall and the water pressure was so strong I had to step back. I tried to endure it and lathered myself up. The shower washed the soap off me and my hair was soap free. I have never felt so energized. It was as if I had been doused with sand and burning water. I bent down to wash my feet and almost became anemic. I knew I had to put the flow restrictor back in the shower head. I put the flow restrictor back in the shower head and bingo, I had perfect water pressure and a very comfortable shower. Now I look forward to my morning shower. I am very happy with the Aqua Elegante showerhead and also know that I am EPA compliant.
