Doesn't catch hair. Looks good

Update: Unfortunately I can NOT find any standard hair. I know it doesn't go below the outer rim. It has to go through my pipes. This plum looks great and hides the old plum well, but I should be able to find my wife's hair on the plum easily. Nothing at all, and she has long hair. Not good. I ordered chrome and it does NOT have slits on the outside edge to allow water to drain completely around it. As previously mentioned, when you empty the bath tub or after a shower, water collects around the outer part of the ring and stays there until it dries. I was going to drill my own slots but instead tightened the screw to hold the lid in place. Then loosen the screw slightly. This keeps the lid from moving but also allows water to slowly seep under the outer rim of the ring. Hair will not fall, but water will flow. It still works. The holes are big, which I think is normal. The lid is dome shaped, which is good. The biggest problem with hair is when you have old cast iron pipes like the ones I have at home. Nothing is smooth inside and you get rust etc. Eventually it clogs somewhere. New PVC does not usually have this problem as it is mostly smooth. This is a great fallback in case with the advice above. If that doesn't work for you, just make a few notches on the outside. The price is worth it. 100% solid purchase on Amazon
