Even when unpacking, the size was disappointing. I measured it and found it to be approximately 47 x 56 inches. As I'm tall I prefer an extra long throw anyway, but it's hard to find a model with good reviews, preferred material or color scheme, so I often buy a normal size. For health reasons I use once a day all year round so I have to buy about one a year. I really liked the colour, design and material, so I was even more disappointed that it didn't even fit the standard sizes advertised. It's very soft and seems to heat up quickly hoping it's decent quality and working for a reasonable amount of time as some reviews say it stops working after a few uses.
