Skip the Screws: Save Your Sanity
This isn't the only clothes/towel hook. The included screws barely hold a fly. The screw holes are very close together and due to the convex hook it is not interesting to drill with a Phillips head. I would recommend drilling a 1/16 or smaller pilot hole. Then unscrew again (NPI). I used metal screws. When you get up you feel strong enough.
