I tried 3 brands from cheapest to most expensive (brand name) and this one was the best for consistency and reliability. The problem with these attachments is that they often break within a few months of use or the foam is too thin. The design is completely made of plastic. The silver looked like brushed aluminum in the photos, but don't be fooled - it's just plastic painted silver. It's not bad, just saying it looked better in the product photos. I have both white and silver and I prefer white. The most important thing: the consistency of the foam is always great. I mix my own soap with 1/4 Mrs. Meyer's hand soap to 3/4 water, but you can also buy foam soap with the perfect mix. I have 4 in total around the house and the only slight downside I see is that the reservoir is smaller than others I've tried meaning I have to refill it at least once a week. A minor inconvenience as long as it continues to work well!
