Review on Marius Fabre Marseille Soap - 14.1 Oz by Jennifer Mounce

I love this soap: Soap

No soap connoisseur here. Just a guy with skin problems and tired of all the plastics under the sun wanted to try something tried and true. This soap smells great, feels great, lathers well and a huge block lasts a long time. Feels dry but my skin still likes it. I didn't expect this soap to be as good as it is. Ingredients: 72% olive oil and some coconut oil, saponified with vegetable ash liquor; Sea-salt; and water. I don't know why it smells so good - none of the things I've mentioned seem like they're supposed to have that light, soapy scent - but they really do. I will be purchasing another unit in a few months when this one is finally ready. .EDIT: I'm updating this review to reflect the increasing enjoyment and enjoyment of using this soap. I have already given the product 5 stars; I wish I could give it a 6. At first I only used it as a kitchen hand soap, but a few days ago I took it in the shower despite fear that it might dry out my skin. No, it works great as a body soap, conditioner and shampoo. It acts gently on all open mucous membranes of the body - if it gets into the eyes, it burns. However, it rinses off easily and quickly, leaving hair and skin supple and soft, not devoid of natural oils. I have occasionally used olive oil as a skin moisturizer and this soap leaves my skin feeling the same. Another reviewer agreed with this soap because she didn't want to do "someone else's chemical experiment" on her skin. The same thing happened to me. I didn't even know this soap; I wouldn't have known about this if I hadn't been to central Spain a few months ago and this area is famous for castile soap which as a doctor I know is one of the few products that is safe to use as an enema. So I was curious about castile soap, and this wikipedia article led me to Marseille soap which led me here. There's always a feeling that we've gone astray as a civilization and invented newer and fancier ways of fucking. rise while the tried and true reserves languish, available but abandoned on the march to an even more ruthless consumer capitalism? No? OK, just me then. Have some of that soap anyway. This is absolutely excellent.
