They are as thick as a bath towel so it took two drying cycles to dry the first one. And there is still fluff left in the fluff filter. I haven't washed the other yet. I was also upset that the towel had a defect resembling a small bald spot. I washed this one so I'm keeping it. Each towel is definitely big enough for a couple of kids. There are four of us so I have two towels. I must add that the colors are really beautiful. It's so worth the price. Nice to have really big beach or bath towels. So I unrolled the second towel and examined it carefully and there are a lot of bald spots on it. However, as long as my house isn't infested with insects that like to eat towels, I'm happy to keep both towels. But I really hope to hear from the seller. So I requested a return/refund hoping I would get a response to reassure me the towels would not cause a problem. Well I never heard from the seller and I had no intention of returning his towels. So I washed them and then froze them for two weeks. They were a big hit with my girls and were used after baths and also as blankets at night. you love them They are so colorful and maybe the prettiest towels in the closet. I'm glad I kept them. They were worth what I paid if not more, even with bare spots.
